1993 Corvette 40th Anniversary

Ruby Red exterior, Ruby Red leather interior.  300hp LT1 engine, 6 speed manual transmission, posi rear-end.  What a great way to get into a contemporary Corvette!  These 40th Anniversary models are loaded with features, and this one is also optioned with the rare 6 speed!  This car is very solid mechanically, but needs some work on cosmetics.  The front clip was repainted a while back, a does not match the rest of the car in terms of color or shine.  This car has many scratches and chips, but no current physical fiberglass damage.  Additionally, the painted top shows some paint bubbles around its edges.  Perhaps the strangest body flaw is the gas door on the rear deck; someone has drilled a hole about the size of a quarter through it, just forward of the center section of the Corvette emblem.  Window sweeps are in great shape with no cracks; the rest of the weather stripping is brittle and split in many places.  Hatch seal is in average original condition, with the typical breaks at the corner pieces.  Original wheels are in good shape, but could use some refinishing as the clearcoat has faded.  Tires are Kumho Ecsta Supras, and the fronts will need to be replaced as soon as possible as they are currently not showing any tread on the outer edges.  Rears have about 20% tread remaining.  Power antenna is not currently working, and is stuck in the halfway position.  Tail lights and glass are in good shape with no cracks or other flaws.  The possibly original seat covers are in above average condition with no large gaping holes, although the piping is torn in several areas, and there are various other small holes.  Dash pad does not show any cracks and is in good shape.  Door panels show some paint chipping around the door handles, as well as some clearcoat chipping on the driver's door pull.  Center console is experiencing typical peeling of the coating, although the lid latches exceptionally well for a car of this mileage.  Steering wheel shows some very minor cracking in the leather from age, but has no scratches, tears, or scuffs.  Carpet looks to be original, and is worn-through in several small areas on the driver's door sill from entry and exit.  Original owner's manual portfolio will be included.  According to the owner, the following items have been recently replaced: brake rotors and pads, ball joints, shocks and springs (replaced with adjustable coil-over units), radiator/hoses, u-joints, driveshaft, a/c condenser (also converted to R134a), climate control unit, serpentine belt.  Additionally, the clutch and optispark ignition system have about 20,000 miles on them.  Details on the aforementioned work are available upon request.  Original features include dual power sport seats, electronic climate control, Bose CD/Cassette stereo, power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, power mirrors, power antenna, tilt, cruise, ABS, traction control.
