White exterior, code correct Black vinyl interior. 255hp 400ci Chevrolet small block V8 engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Originally assembled on January 28, 1970, this 1970 Corvette shows an older restoration that has been well kept. Originally paint code 986, this car shows what looks to have been a high-quality paint job that is now showing a few very minor signs of age, but is still in very good condition with a very good shine. Chrome bumpers are older, but still look good with no major scratches, and no dings or rust. With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass on this car shows a correct date code. Weatherstripping is soft and in very good condition; taillights are in fair condition with typical light cracks. Exterior door handles look to be newer, and are in very good to excellent condition with no pitting and no rubbing issues. This 1970 Corvette wears rally wheels, which are in good condition with good condition spinners. These wheels are wrapped with Firestone Firehawk SS outlined white letter tires, which show an average of 5/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this car shows older seat covers in good condition with good condition foam, and very good to excellent condition door panels. Door panel lock knob trim is missing. Correct loop carpet is in very good condition and the speedometer and tachometer are in very good condition with no fading and clear lensethe passenger seat. The engine in this 1970 Corvette shows casting number 3951511, whics. Center gauge cluster gauges are in good condition with minor fading and good lenses. Steering wheel is in good condition; dash pad is very good with the exception of just a few minor cracks in the driver's side speaker grille. Front center console is in fair to good condition; rear center console is in poor condition with typical cracks. Interior additions include a Hurst shifter, vintage JVC AM/FM/Cassette stereo, rear 4x6 speaker boxes, and a Splash TUNL-604 600w amplifier mounted behind h corresponds to a 1970-73 Chevrolet 400ci engine with 4 bolt mains and at least 255hp, according to nastyz28.com. Stamp pad is bare, and there does not seem to be a casting date. Additions to this engine include a polished Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock Pro-Flo air cleaner, HEI ignition, chrome water outlet, chrome valve covers, polished master cylinder, and red spark plug wire looms.
