1972 Corvette Convertible For Sale Stock #2811PC Daytona Sunset Orange exterior, code correct Black vinyl interior, matching vinyl auxiliary hardtop, unknown color convertible top. Numbers matching 200hp 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear-end. Coming Soon to our inventory! Originally assembled on February 29, 1972, this 1972 Corvette Convertible has two very desirable features that are rarely seen together, particularly on a convertible -- this car features both air conditioning AND a 4 speed manual transmission! This car is currently in the process of being repainted, and will have photos when it returns to us. Original paint code is 987. With the exception of the windshield, all glass on this car shows a correct date code, including the auxiliary hardtop, which is rarely the case as these hardtops are generally bought and sold over the years, and rarely stay with a car. Chrome bumpers look to be somewhat older reproductions, but are still in good to very good condition with just a hint of patina. Exterior door handles are in good condition with no finish or rubbing issues, and the weatherstripping is older and in fair to good condition. Taillights are in fair condition, with two out of the four units showing typical hairline cracks. Rally wheels are in fair to good condition. Tires are vintage BF Goodrich Comp T/A raised white letter, with an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining. Although these tires show plenty of tread, we strongly recommend replacing them before driving any significant distance as they are heavily dry-rotted. The interior of this 1972 Corvette Convertible shows recent seat covers and foam in very good condition, with recent door panels in very good condition as well. Steering wheel is in fair condition with heavier wear than normal, but no cracks or other major flaws. Gauges show heavy fading, and are in fair condition with fair condition lenses. Carpet is correct loop style, but is older and in fair condition with wear and fading. Center console is in good condition, and GM seatbelts are present and in fair to good condition also. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place as well. Dashboard currently wears a cap, which is in good condition other than typical warping. The numbers matching engine in this 1972 Corvette Convertible shows the very rare experimental "M" casting date, and a final assembly date of November 10, 1971. Ignition shielding is in place, and the carburetor and intake manifold show correct casting numbers. Air pump is present as well, in addition to a correct style 1972 air cleaner. A/C is missing its belt, and likely will need other repairs to blow cold. This consigned car also has several fluid leaks, including the valve covers, oil pan, rear main seal, pinion seal, power steering, and transmission. We can address all of these leaks for an additional $1,400. If these leaks are repaired, this car would be eligible for our 2 year/50k engine and transmission warranty. Frame appears to be solid. This car is well worth restoring with its rare options, and is far from a basket case -- this would make an easy restoration, or simply drive as-is. Either way, this car definitely won't last long at this price, so call us now!! Features include 4 speed manual transmission, vinyl-covered auxiliary hardtop, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio. Price Coming Soon. Financing Available. |

1966 Corvette For Sale Stock #2994PC Red exterior, Black vinyl interior. Small block Chevrolet V8 engine, automatic transmission. Originally assembled on October 25, 1965, this 1966 Corvette comes equipped with the very desirable power steering, as well as power brakes and windows, and a RARE automatic transmission. This car's trim tag shows original paint code 978, and original trim code 414. Chrome bumpers look to be older or original, and are in overall good condition. Exterior door handles are in good condition as well. This 1966 Corvette wears a set of correct appearing hubcaps, which are in good to very good condition with no pitting. Tires are Michelin Radial XH4 whitewalls, showing an average of 6/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1966 Corvette shows good condition seat covers, door panels, and steering wheel. GM seatbelts are present. Clock is in very nice condition with a clear lens and no fading, and is even working! A vintage cassette stereo has been added in place of the original AM/FM unit. The Chevrolet small block V8 engine in this 1966 Corvette shows a bare stamp pad, and a bracket is obscuring the casting number. Exhaust manifolds show casting numbers that would be correct for a 1958-63 Corvette, and the alternator is correct for a 1966 Corvette. A set of finned aluminum valve covers have been added, as well as a Holley 6210-3 carburetor. Frame appears to be solid and rust-free. This very original car runs and drives particularly well -- so well that it would probably embarrass many "restored" cars. This is an incredible value on a midyear Corvette, call us before it's gone! Features include automatic transmission, hubcaps, power steering, power brakes, power windows, AM/FM/Cassette stereo. Our Price: $33,999 or 10% down with payments as low as $594/month W.A.C. |
